How i got my start

I stumbled into photography by accident with my first iPhone. Until that point, I had no idea how much I would use a camera, if only one was available. I realized quickly that I had an eye for it, and tens of thousands of images later, that it was time to get a DSLR.

It then became my life’s goal to step away from my phone and master my camera. I networked, went to seminars, read books, and continued to challenge myself to take, and edit as many photos as possible.

I always loved photographing nature, portraiture, street photography, and lifestyle; all of these passions intersected when I was asked to photograph my first wedding. I rented the equipment I was still missing, and loved the experience. I had discovered a career that combined all of my interests. Over a decade later, and after hundreds of weddings, I’m extremely happy to be doing something I love.

A Little About Me

When I'm not behind the camera, you’ll find me spending time with my wife, Humay. We met in 2020, under very unlikely circumstances. We love summer vacations to Maine, camping, and discovering new cultures through food and travel. Exploring different places, trying new dishes, and experiencing life outside of work keeps me grounded and inspired.
